Hilary Duff goes to an afternoon pilates class and then goes for a coffee run before finishing her day with a little pampering at a nail salon in Los Angeles on Wednesday (May 27). The 21-year-old singer/actress is the “Blessings in a Backpack” and will serve as grand marshal of the NASCAR nationwide series “Meijer 300 Presented by Ritz.” The race is set for June 13 at the Speedway.

Just added some recent candids of Hilary leaving a 2 hour dentist appointment! Hilary was spotted leaving the dentist on May 24, 2009. Hil is clearly in a lot of pain, judging by her facial expressions. She still looks amazing, as usual, even though she just spent 2 hours at the dentist!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am terribly sorry for the lack of updates the last couple of days. I have recently had a death in the family and I have been dealing with a lot of stuff. • A New Movie For Hilary - 'Great Education'

Myriad Pictures is coming aboard Chris Keyser's directorial debut, "A Great Education," with company president and CEO Kirk D'Amico producing alongside Laurence Mark. Ben Kingsley and singer-actress Hilary Duff are attached to star. Keyser's script centers on a young man who is accepted to Harvard on scholarship and ends up joining elite singing group the Krokodiloes. Captivated by their fast-moving world of parties, social engagements, private clubs and air of entitlement, he falls for society girl Liza (Duff), and his studies begin to suffer despite warnings from his professor (Kingsley). Harvard grad Keyser is best known for the TV series "Party of Five." Mark earned an Oscar nomination in 1997 for "Jerry Maguire" and also produced "Dreamgirls" and this year's Oscar ceremony. D'Amico said Keyser's script is full of complex characters and that he is looking forward to the film will go into production in October in Canada.

Hilary Duff talked this week with NYLON magazine about her charity work, her Femme for DKNY line, and her role in The Story of Bonnie and Clyde. Hilary first starts out talking about charity and how our generation needs to step up and do more volunteer work. That said, Hilary won’t “shake her finger” at anyone, since life is stressful as a young person, but says: “We do a really good job of having sob stories for ourselves, when there’s a lot more need out there and a lot more people who have it harder than we do. Doing really simple things can actually be fun and be so rewarding.” Hilary Duff talks briefly about what’ll be on her iPod for the AIDS Walk this weekend, then goes on to talk about her Femme for DKNY fashion line: “We did two pairs of jeans this season—it’s kind of a selfish line, because it’s skinny jeans, which look the best on me. One thing I wanted was multiple-size belt loops, because sometimes I want to wear a skinny little belt wrapped around a million times, or sometimes I want to wear a really fat one that won’t ever stay in place, slung low. So it just has a lot of options. There’s other stuff, too, like little shrunken leather jackets. I wanted the stuff to be smart.” Read more...
